I'm not a EE client. However, the website clearly states that I should be able to buy them from a store.
I've gone to two different ones in my city and both said that the order NEEDS to be done online, even after I say I'm not a client. I'm confused? I really want to get these but I've run into wall after wall.

From reports on here, not may advisers know about these devices, so it would be advisable to call one of the shops near where you will be.
Someone reported they had to pay a deposit when they phoned up, and make sure you get a name and arrange a time to pick them up when you know they are in.

Laughed when I saw this. What a pathetic list. That's it? Over 600 stores in the UK and it's in less than ten of them? I need to travel halfway across the country to buy some glasses? And EE has exclusive rights to this device? That is the stupidest thing I've ever seen.
I called my store too. They said it can be ordered into their store no problem from the website. It seems that most of the EE staff is completely clueless about this. It seems that to EE, selling some AR glasses is a logistical nightmare and in the process they get to stop any other retailer in the UK from selling them. Absolute joke.
Fortunately I still have the option of ordering the glasses from Japan, at a lower cost too. I don't want to do it that way but I have no choice because of this ludicrous situation.

And of course it's an EE problem, not an Nreal problem. Why would Nreal intentionally hold themselves back from being able to make more money? Just admit it, EE is no good.

Hi @DontBloodyCare,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
You can order NReal Air AR Glasses in any EE retail store. The stores listed earlier in the thread are the stores that stock demonstration models.
Hope this helps.

Surely Leeds is a big enough city to garner interest and maybe get a demo unit?

It's not true. I tried my local EE stores and they said there's nothing they can do and that ordering online is the only way. But the page is broken, making it impossible to order online. (Hundreds of people have complained about it, amazing how the complaints keep coming in when apparently nothing is wrong?)
People should just order from Amazon Japan. The global shipping is cheap and only takes a few days. The import charges are calculated upfront and after these fees are applied it still costs £332. It makes no sense to order from EE. They make it very difficult for people to buy it (and the in-store salespeople probably try to tempt people into a mobile contract) and it costs over £60 more. I see no advantage to EE whatsoever.

Hi @DontBloodyCare,
I'm sorry you were given incorrect information when you visited your local store. Any EE Store can place an order via their Sales Plus system.
If you aren't currently an EE customer, you won't be able to order online.
Hope this helps.

There's currently no way to buy these online (logged in as a PAYG customer).
On the product page a yellow banner at the top says:
Existing customer? Log in or register to upgrade or add another device.
Logging in for another time, another yellow banner:
Unfortunately, we couldn't log you in, but you can still buy or upgrade - just choose what you want to do.
Trying with the shop on the Android app I'm greeted with:
Sorry we don't currently support Pay As You Go within the shop. If you'd like to switch over to one of our 1 month pay monthly SIM plans chat to us or give us a call.
Surely I should not have to go through all of this, if I'm an EE customer?

@nath_ : You cannot buy an accessory online unless you already have a mobile phone or SIM contract, not PAYG from EE. You are expected to pay for it along with your existing EE mobile plan. That's why it's telling you to login to upgrade your existing plan or add another device. You have neither of these.

@nath_ if you had read the thread it explains why you can't buy them as a PAYG customer.
