Britbox subscription

Hi

I am trying to get my Britbox account deleted but it’s showing that I have a subscription through EE. However, when I check my EE account there isn’t a subscription on there. Britbox won’t delete my account until the subscription is removed and I have no way of doing that when it isn’t present on my EE account.

Can anyone help in resolving this?

Have you emailed BritBox to see if this can be removed?

Thanks for your reply.

BritBox cannot remove the account - it says that the subscription needs to be managed through my EE account but I have no BritBox subscription. I had the 6 months offer initially but didn’t continue after that.

If you give us a call on 150, the team will check the account for you and see if the add-on is showing at our end to get this removed for you.

I’m on a messaging chat now and waiting to hear back - however if it’s not showing for me then I would be surprised that it would be showing up on your side

There may still be an old add-on showing on the account we can look at removing for you to get the account cancelled @Jay180
