Apple music link to Google Home

Hi,

I recently received Apple Music as an inclusive extra on my phone contract. I am able to cast to my Google Nest and Speakers but cannot seem to link to my account on Google Home.

When I try it says I need to update my subscription on Appleid but I then cannot access that online.

Is Google Home supported with this subscription? If not why as this is linked to my mobile device in order to work?

Yes thank you I have followed these steps but when logging in to link it says I have to update my account. However, I am unable to do so. 

I wondered if this is the due to the level of subscription but the £10.99 package should support the other devices.

Hi @NathSims,

Sorry, it isn't possible to link an EE Apple Music subscription with your Google Home account.

To play content from the Apple Music app, you'll need to cast it from your phone.

Is the above also true in terms of other similar devices I have been scratching my head on trying to link my EE apple account to my amazon alexa!
