Hi
I'm struggling to get an answer to this, hoping someone can help.
I'm thinking of moving to EE by taking a sim only deal as a 2nd line on my wife's account and therefore get the 30% discount on that plan. I am also considering getting an apple watch with celluer (not bought from EE) and would like to share the number and data etc with my phone plan (i.e. no separate contract for the watch), which would now be the 2nd line on my wife's account.
Is that possible?
Thanks
Mark

Hi @skiddy1903
Thanks for coming here.
If you purchase a SIM Only plan and would like to connect the watch to the phone, you would need to purchase a data plan to use a cellular connection. You are unable to share the plans data allowance with the watch.
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.

@skiddy1903 if you get the watch elsewhere, then the tariff for the watch would be £7 a month on rolling 30 day contract and you will get 10 gig of data just for the watch. The watch will be an additional line on your account and has nothing to do with any other contacts on your account. The phone it’s paired with will share the call/text allowance with that watch and use the same number for calls/text that the phone has. If you don’t wanna pay for a contract for an Apple Watch, then just get the none cellular watch. The contract is paying for the data connection the cellular watch needs to be connected to the network.

Thanks both. I didn't realise I'd need a separate contract for the watch. Made sense to me that you could just share data if it's using the same number but I guess it makes sense for EE to charge extra for that.
Thanks for the help, much appreciated.
