I got sent a text from EE-offers. As a thanks and to celebrate the anniversary of the start of the contract, it says EE want to give me 30days unlimited data. I’ve to text YES to 1219. Is this legitimate?

Hi @YFR
Thanks for coming here.
This does sound like a text offer we may send, to make sure can you attach a screenshot of the text?
If no details are requested and the link to the website, is a genuine EE Terms and conditions page, this should be a text from EE.
Leanne.

I received the same message on 6th April 2024; not keen on pressing the link to http://discover.ee.co.uk/G4j1M2k7 unless it is legitimate lest something nasty is released and reluctant to accept "should be" as a clear yes!
Is the 1219 number legitimate?

The official EE website is ee.co.uk - that's where this community forum is held.
Replace the "community" of this website with "discover" and you remain on the ee.co.uk site.
