voicemail PAYG

hi all,

apologies if this is not the right location.

i recently bought my mum a more up to date iphone, since then when trying to access the voicemail it comes up with the error "Error performing request unknown error" when the message is dismissed it calls voicemail without ever connecting. this worked fine on a previous phone and all settings have been transferred to the newer device.

i've  confirmed voicemail is on and was able to leave a message. had to call 222 on my mums phone to get rid of the voicemail. 

because she is on PAYG visual voicemail is not an option. I've toggled with the settings but I'm not getting anywhere.

any suggestions would be great.

Have you tried switching voicemail off and on again?

You can do this by texting VM OFF to 150 then VM ON to 150.

yes, this was the first thing i tried after scrolling through the forums, i have also toggled with airplane mode as well as switching the device on and off multiple times.

Welcome to the community.

If you speak to our technical support team, they'll be able to check everything on our end and send a refresh through to the SIM. Hopefully they can get it working.
