Yes or better still an option to nominate a number and then EE to agree. Also I'm aware of steps taken by ee , ie 6 months to make a chargeable event and a further 1-3 months to call up and still retain your number when suspended but when you go into quarantine and that number has not been issued to anyone to anyone else ie the quarantine period of 6-18? Months why can't I request it ? What is the point of the quarantine period especially if the original user wants it back. In May I lost. A 20 year number amd it's still giving me problems using another one until today

Hi @curds
We know how important it is for you to be able to keep your number, especially if you've had it for a considerable length of time.
We don't currently offer the option to change your number to a specific number, which is why we do wait so long before deactiviating a number not in use, though I am sorry this has happened.
