call waiting

ive tried everything to get my call waiting working but if im on phone and if someone else rings me it goes straight to voicemail

Can you be a bit more specific about what "tried everything" includes or means?

Are you on PAYG or pay-monthly? Call waiting is not supported on PAYG if so.

Are you in the UK or abroad? Has call waiting worked for you previously?

ive tried going into supplementary settings

ive dialled *43# 

just got this phone worked on previous phone with same sim

anything else I should try?
