I have a new pixel xl and am trying to add what's app? Every code I get sent doesn't arrive and if I try to get a phone call it says it can't connect to my number. Anyone got any idea why? Would be eternally grateful

Have you recently transferred your number over to EE?
You may need to call Customer Service so the team can check if the messages are routing correctly through to your phone.

Try using WhatsApp business to complete the verification process, then revert to standard WA. Can you receive the verification codes then?
Can you receive other automated text messages from other senders? How about person-to-person texts?
