I have been reading about Wifi coverage boost
Id like to just clarify please whether i can only connect to a Wifi Network called "EE WiFi" / "EE-WiFi-Auto" or are there other BT related networks that i can connect to?
I have for several times been connected to a BT WiFi hotspot but this never allows any data and redirects me to the BT page to pay for access.
I have confirmed i have text Wifi to 150 and that is turned on
Should i be able to connect to a BT WiFi labelled hotspot or are these not in the scope of Wifi coverage boost?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @foxtrotmike
Welcome to the community.
Your EE plan does not allow you to connect to BT hotspots for free. You should get access to those EE WiFi connections that you mentioned as long as you hit the criteria on that help page you posted.

@Christopher_G - are the EE store/shops a part of the 150,000 hotspots too?

Hi @354-
Sorry we don't have the locations, if the store has this available your phone will detect the hotspots as they come into range, and seamlessly connect. Apple devices will connect automatically to WiFi Coverage Boost, but Android users will need to complete a few short steps detailed here > Find out how to connect on Android

Hi @Selyst
You can use 'EE WiFi-Auto' on the London Underground service. Find out how to connect here: How do I use WiFi on the London Underground?

@Christopher_G : The Tube is not the same as 150,000 hotspots across the UK (mentioned in your link) . The London Tube does not extend across the UK. So where's it gone? If EE has withdrawn it, at least be honest & announce it & edit the article at your link.
