I have seen this question on here multiple times but can't see a solution.
My voicemail says it's not setup/ activated. Tried holding down 1 key. Tried VM ON, VM OFF, VM ON (again), DIVERT VOICEMAIL ON.
Tried the live chat but it timed out and can't seem to get another one.
Worked fine before my new sim only contract. Assuming that's when it stopped working as only just noticed today when 3 missed calls didn't leave me any voicemails which i thought was strange.
Anyone solved this?

Hi Leanne,
Tried the technical care team and they are escalating it, couldn't figure it out.
But I have actually just fixed it myself.
Post it here just incase someone has a similar problem.
My phone I don't know from the last update or a glitch but in my voicemail settings it changed the number from the uk version to abroad version. So changed it back and I can access it now (take off +44 and put 0)

@Kickboxkiel87 Have you restarted the device? Have you text VM OFF to 150 then turned the device off give it a few minutes then restarted the device then text VM ON to 150 and tested it.

What happens if you dial 222 from your phone?
In the absence of a working speed-dial, that's the voicemail number.

I have tried both of your suggestions and it just says nothing activated on my account.

i know someone who has the same issue - the voicemail will not come back on after they have been abroad - just says not able to at this time (or something like that) if she sends VM on message.
The ee technical team spent 2 hours on phone and still could not resolve the issue.
can you please let me know where voicemail settings are on an iPhone X? So that I can follow what you did?

I didn’t have a voicemail and had tried everything suggested on Google, then I joined the community page saw this and it fixed it instantly. Thank you for your help 😉

Just spent 2 days on this problem getting nowhere and EE not coming back. Put a DM on Twitter and they discovered there was a bar on my account from when my contract was renewed and they have now removed this bar and voicemail has returned .Suggest you contact them via Twitter (X) .The digital link they have is useless.
