Visual Voicemail “Voicemail Error: Unavailable”

Hi there

I’m having some trouble with getting Visual Voicemail setup.

I have done so far: texted IPHONE VISUAL to 150, received the confirmation text telling me it’s now enabled.

What I’m unable to do: setup “voicemail password (or passcode). It errors with “Voicemail Error: Unavailable”.

Edit: I just got “Voicemail Error: Try again later” as an addition to this.

I’m on Pay Monthly, as I’m assuming it matters(?).

@lordbyron  Try restarting the device and try again 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

No dice unfortunately. Tried that, airplane mode on/off and turning off mobile data etc all to no avail.

If you dial 222 from your keypad are you able to access voicemail?

Hi Jon,

Yes, that allows me to access them but; I signed up to EE for the wide support of Apple-specific features.

Is there anyone that could look into it not working?

Thanks @lordbyron, that was just to check that your voicemail is set up from our end.

 

Can you remove the visual voicemail feature, then add it again?

 

Text IPHONE VISUAL OFF to 150 to remove it.

Done as you’ve advised and the same error “try again later”.

Edit: I have tried restarting, resetting mobile data etc as advised before.

At this point I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team so they can check your account and help you with this.
