Using phone in Sweden

I have a contract for two SIM only  - one for my son, the other for me.
I took out the contact in April 2020 and have let it roll on.
In the UK we both have unlimited data, texts, and calls.
My son is going to Sweden tomorrow for two weeks. Will there be additional charges whilst he is there, OR can he use his phone as normal with no extra charges?

@Carl10590 : A contract is for each SIM. They are billed together under the same EE a/c. Did your son's contract also start in April '20 w/out ever being upgraded? If so, roaming will be free for him.

You may use your usual UK allowances in the EU with up to 50 GB (contract) or 25 GB (PAYG) data per billing month if you have more. If on contract & your contract started after 07/07/2021 there'll be a £2.47 / day charge for using your UK allowances in EU or alternatively you may buy the Roam Abroad Pass for £25 / billing month.

As he is on contract, he should remember to text ROAMING to 150 before he leaves UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on his account.

Hello @Carl10590 ,

Welcome to the community,

Yes he can use it as if at home, up to 50 Gig  of data, as you took out the contract before July 2021, but please make sure that roaming is enabled on the phone, otherwise it will not work.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Thank you. Yes, both SIM cards were contracted at the same time, on the same contract.
Regards

Carl.
