Using phone in Senegal

is there a bolt on so I can use my phone in Senegal without using wifi or getting roaming charges.

Just to add to the advice from @bristolian, if you have a pay monthly contract please text ROAMING to 150 before travelling to make sure your account is set up to use abroad.
