Texts to EE not delivered.

I have been reading about getting a not delivered message when texting to O2 customers and the techs say this is an issue for O2 to sort. However I have the reverse.
If I text to EE from my phone on O2 I get a not delivered notice. Sometimes the text has clearly got through other times it doesn't appear to have been received. I can phone the number and I have trie the usual - switching off the phone and reinstalling the menage app with no joy.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this please?
Some of these texts are related to my work and are urgent.

If EE users are having a problem receiving texts from specific numbers, they should report this in the usual manner.
Although the suggestions above, for the EE user to troubleshoot their ability to receive texts, is an excellent first step.

Do you know if the user you're trying to message is able to receive texts from everyone else? Is your number showing in their 'block' list?
