I am currently in the US and trying to text a US 6-digit number. However it always says not delivered. I have tried putting 001, 1 or +1 before the number but have the same problem. How do I do this?

Is this a local mobile number, or a text shortcode? The latter could have issues while roaming
Can you call this same number, or text other numbers?
