Hi Guys
ive just arrived in the Maldives and my data/ texts don’t work; I’m trying to purchase an add on but it tells me I can’t at the moment and to phone 150, but the call won’t connect because I don’t have the data in the first place to support!!! Frustrated to say the least. Can someone help point me in the right direction?

Are you on pay as you go or contract? Did you make sure roaming was activated before going abroad? Also if on contract, in settings you will need to make sure that roaming, call abroad and premium rate calls is enabled. If you are not able too unblock these, then you will have to ring customer service to get this enabled. 150 will not work whilst abroad.
If you click on Contact EE above, you will find the contact numbers, and if you have Skype, there is a free number you can ring.

Hi @Schockwave - thanks so much for responding and for the warm welcome! I am on a contract and data roaming was on before I came.
when you say settings, do you mean phone settings?

The settings to check will be in your My EE account online, if you go to Menu > Account Settings > Parental and Data Controls > Enable Roaming and Call abroad, can you activate these?
