Despite seeing EE icon on my mobile thinking that I activated my Sim, I've yet to see any text messages for some days now appearing on my phone. What could be wrong? I had no problems with EE/150 texts. But nobody else has. I tried the Sim on a old Smartphone Blackberry device. However, it does not recognize the Sim at all! Anyone?

Your symptoms appear, at first, slightly contradictory. You mention "seeing EE icon" which suggests a network connection, but then "it doesn't recognize the SIM at all" when it's the SIM that enables a network connection.

If your underlying issue is that you don't see any text messages, try sending one to yourself - do you receive it? Try texting NUMBER to 150 - do you receive the expected reply?

the icon doesn't appear on the smartphone, but on the Nokia it does. That's the contradiction. Yes I did text myself. It did work. Perhaps, I've been impatient!
