Subscription pack and roaming

I’ve got a recurring PAYG subscription pack and credit on my account. EE says I need to pay a roaming charge to use my phone in the EU. When I text ROAMEU7 as instructed on the EE text message, it tells me I’m not eligible for the add-on. Any ideas? This is massively frustrating as I’m not in the UK at the moment.

I’ve got this exact problem. Massively frustrating to be in the EU and can’t even contact EE to fix it. It’s an absolute **bleep** show.

What suggestions have you got? This is a ridiculous situation for a company to put people in. And it’s clearly a lot of them.

Hello @Jamespralija

What happens when you try to purchase the roaming add-on?

Katie

I sent a text to 150 saying ROAMEU7, and the text message response says “I'm sorry but you are not eligible for this add on.”

Isn't it ROAMEU7D?

Do you still have an active pack? Not having 1 would make you ineligible for the PAYG roaming add-ons.
