Stopping EE marketing texts

Hi, Can anyone advise how I can stop EE from sending marketing texts. How can I text EE ??

This used to be switchable within our account settings, why isnt it now? Also, when I send "STOP" to 2040, as instructed, it immediately comes up as "Premium SMS failed". I`m sick of the constant (almost daily) marketing spam texts, its incredibly irritating that you`re now making us jump through hoops to stop them.

You can adjust your marketing preferences by visiting our Privacy Policy page for more information. 

Under the heading "Your Rights" open 'How do I make a request?'
Then click on the Online Form to request the change

The unsubscribe link in the email doesn't work and trying to get the text messages to stop is impossible. I never signed up to receive marketing from EE and now I can't get stop something I didn't agree to.

Yes, as I said, making us jump through hoops to stop them, when it was controllable from our account settings before.. And you didnt answer why the "text STOP to 2040" not working? All this is incredibly irritating, & now you`ve increased my bill by 40% as well, & my contract is over.. I`m literally going to go & look at other companies right now.. Maybe you`ll learn when we all start leaving..
