I am traveling outside EU. I have selected automatic operator selection. Shows no service on EE
i am not getting calls on my ee No or unable for o make calls. Instead getting a voice mail notification.
Please guide.
if I have to subscribe to any add on, please advise how to it.
I am on a pay monthly plan

@haziimhamza You’ll just get an EE network connection outside the UK as EE is only a UK network . You’ll be connected to a local network in the country you are in and this is called roaming. But in order for this to work did you enable roaming on your EE account?

I am travelled outside and now in Qatar. Wanted to activate roaming. Contacted helpline and they changed my plan saying my previous plan was not eligible for roaming. Despite changing my plan and paying my current bill, still roaming is not activated. The agent wanted me to create a direct debit for bills. I have created. Yet roaming is not activated. I am supposed be o receive some important calls from UK. Hope someone can assist to resolve this soon

Are you on contract or PAYG? Did you use that SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad?
If you are on contract, did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150? Having a roaming billing add-on doesn't of itself activate roaming on your a/c.
Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Also try selecting a network manually rather than auto.
