Hi i paid for the roaming add on and its not working i also switched on roaming before i left the UK and hasnt made a difference. When i follow your guidance below:
“To do this, log into your My EE account online go to Menu > Account Settings > Parental and Data Controls > Enable Roaming and also Make calls abroad from the UK > They will show as ticked if roaming and
calling abroad is activated.
I dont even see the menu account settings option on the page.

The online options to toggle roaming were removed quite a while ago, the recommended way to check ever since has been to text ROAMING to 150 before leaving EE's UK network.
Did you do this? Billing add-ons are immaterial for enabling roaming itself.
If you've not done this, your only recourse is now to contact CS from another means - another working phone, or using a web-calling app such as Skype over a WiFi internet connection.
