Roaming in france

Hi

I have a pay as you go sim, I have called 150 and received a text saying my phone is ready to use aboard, is there anything else I need to do to make sure I phone works in France?

Do I need a roaming pass etc if so how do i get it? I have a vip talk pack does it just use the usage from that like it does in UK?

My pack is due to renew while away will it still renew while I'm in France?

To use your pack allowances in the EU on PAYG there are roaming charges of either £2.50 / day, by having texted ROAMEU1D to 150, or £10 / week, by having texted ROAMEU7D to 150, to be taken only from your PAYG credit, not your recurring card payment. You will receive a msg upon arrival telling you about these charges for roaming in EU & inviting to take up these options. If you opt to reply neither or you don't have an active pack, you will be paying standard rates for calls & texts & will need to buy a PAYG add-on for data.
