Roaming charges

Hi. I have been an EE customer since before July 2021, I have recently upgraded my plan and phone and I am now abroad in Greece and received a text message stating that I will have a £2 charge on my account per day for roaming. How can this be since I have been a customer and had a plan since before July 2021? Thanks

@Niko5 : It's not a matter of how long you've been with EE but when you last took out or upgraded to your current plan. From "recently" I would infer that was after 07/07/21. Therefore you are subject to the £2 a day EU roaming surcharge. Alternatively you may buy the Roam Abroad Pass for £11.40 / month.

Hi @Niko5

To add if you have a smart plan you will have the roaming pass free if you swap it for your current benefit.

Thanks
