Did you make or receive any calls, or send any text messages whilst you were connected to WiFi?

If you did so, and this was within the EU - that would be enough to trigger the £2/day charge as they would have been routed over the mobile network not WiFi.

@Kaz19791  Also just receiving anything via cellular data will also trigger this.   Ie emails/any app updating in the background. I don’t mean an app update I mean any app updating in the background like Facebook can.    Did you turn off cellular data ?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thanks Chris that would explain it Wi-Fi was constantly not responding etc my daughter got no charges but I did

@bristolian : Receiving calls in the EU doesn't count in your allowance & therefore doesn't trigger the £2 a day. OP must be in EU to be charged £2 a day; this charge is not operative outside EU.
