Did you mean:

Roaming Anywhere

I am currently in Cyprus and will be for the next 2 months. Will I be affected with the new roaming charges? I messaged “Roaming” to 150 and got the following reply:

You have Roam Anywhere activated. If you'd like to change to EU Roaming only, which means you'll only be able to call other EU countries, reply ROAM EU to this message. If you'd prefer EU Roaming plus Call Anywhere from the UK, please reply ROAM INT.

Do I have to do anything or will I still be able to use my data, text and minutes like I do in the UK without any extra costs?

No, not pointless. They are 2 separate things.

Roam Anywhere relates to your ability to use your device abroad & where. It can be anywhere, as yours is, or EU only or even nowhere.

The Roam Abroad Pass is a means of paying for your roaming usage. W/out it you would need to pay £2 for each day you use your device in the EU.

Providing you are in Greek Cyprus you can use your UK allowances in the EU but after 2 March you'll be charged £2 for every day you do. Or you can buy the Roam Abroad Pass for £10 pm.

So what your saying is that having the Roam Anywhere activated will be completely pointless from the 3rd of March, and every time I go abroad I will have to buy the Roam Abroad pass?
