Replying to text for roaming

Landed in costa rica and had a text to say I could buy add on or swap.  I replied to text and keep getting offered music. .  I just want to BUY roaming data.  Why is it so difficult.  Had no data so could not get to my hotel and had to get another room.  

So bad

No taxis in Costa Rica? 

 

You only get 150mb a day anyway so unlikely to be helpful if you intended to use GPS.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Yep 6 hours was crazy expensive.

 

My point is customer services was closed when I called after 8 mins on phone going through options.  

 

When I landed it said the usual welcome then text TRAVEL . reply said it did not recognise the text.  

 

 

Trying to find buying add on is not easy on site and then when I went to buy it said technical issues,  try later.  

 

4 other people I was with had fake issue with EE  . My son in O2 was straight in and sorted.  

 

I'll just swap away next month then I'm all good

I'm sorry to hear that you had some problems connecting. Usually when using your phone's browser, it automatically redirects you to our data add-on hub where you can add an add-on.
