I am already abroad. How to contact Customer Service if not registered on network? calling 150 doesn't even work.

Hi @Oliver71,

Before you consider changing network provider, EE charges pretty much the same (give or take a few pence) as the other network providers (three and Vodafone), due to us leaving the EU. O2 is the only mainstream provider to still offer free roaming in its 'Europe Zone' - however I don't expect that to be the case for much longer.

Smaller networks which piggyback off others may offer free roaming however their fair usage policies are as low as 5GB which won't suit most people.

With EE you can purchase the Roam Abroad pass which removes the need to pay the £2.29/day charge and instead pay £15 for the entire month. To purchase it, text ROAMING PASS to 150.

There is also an online tool for calculating roaming costs so that you don't get caught out in the future.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you Alex.

Yes Brexit! sovereignty at a high cost.

And for sure the competition it's only theoretical.

The issue was the new charges dating from beginning of June this year.
