Hello, I have the same issue.
I am working in Saudi Arabia and (thought) I had set-up roaming before I left via a call to the EE help desk ... but now have no signal.
I am unable to call on the UK number as do not have international call access on local (KSA) phone.
Could you please advise how I am able to upgrade my account, so that access can be given while I'm away from the UK.

Thanks Katie ... but have no idea how to access Live chat, let alone VOiP via Skype.
Also, if you've sent private message to my mobile, I wont see it as have no connection and thereby not currently receiving texts either.
