Hello, I have the same issue.
I am working in Saudi Arabia and (thought) I had set-up roaming before I left via a call to the EE help desk ... but now have no signal.

I am unable to call on the UK number as do not have international call access on local (KSA) phone.

Could you please advise how I am able to upgrade my account, so that access can be given while I'm away from the UK.

Are you able to manually search for any other available network?

What phone are you using?

Our live chat team can be found by logging in to your My EE account.

Hi Katie,

Yes, I appear to be able to search ... and am then presented with various networks.

However, despite being able to select, no coverage is presented ... not even a poor connection; simply nothing!

I've tried chat and spent so much time in the EE site, but cant solve ... I'd just like this to work ; )

Could you also confirm if you have restarted your phone since arriving?

What was advised when you spoke with our online chat team?

I have no knowledge of others with the same issue - other than those in this community!

I have restarted the phone numerous times, but yet still no coverage.

I cant seem to get any feedback other than call UK number ... which is something I can not do.

So right now I am paying a money fee for ZERO COVERAGE! So very frustrating!

Did our live chat team access your account and run any tests?

Is roaming enabled on your handset?

Please log in to your My EE account and await for the live chat option to appear @sweetclan

This will appear once an agent is available. The team will have account access and will be able to help get your services working.

There is the option to call using a VOiP service such as Skype.
