I have the same problem as Rufford5
I have just joined EE and ported my old number (from O2)
No SMS messages being received and cannot sign in to Amazon or my bank as OTP not received!
Have contacted 150 and a call -back was promised, but not so far.
I am in the UK

When did the number transfer?
If you send NUMBER to 150, does the text send and do you get a reply?

The number transfered on Tuesday 24-10-23 at 6.00pm
I can send text, and receive reply texts.
I CANNOT RECEIVE SMS texts or OTP
This seems to be a common problem after joining EE and porting a number.

Does your correct number display on the recipients phone with outbound calls & texts?
You state that you can "receive reply texts", but then "I cannot receive SMS texts" - can you clarify?
I'd certainly recommend contacting EE CS on 150, to check your port-in has completed successfully.

The phone (I Phone 12 Pro Max) works just fine in every way - Except for NOT receiving SMS messages.
No OTP (One Time Passwords) being received.
After contacting EE on 150, it now seems that Virgin/O2 ( previous network provider ) did not send over all the files required
to FULLY complete the number porting!
How long it will take to fix the problem EE are unable to say, as this depends on Virgin/O2 .
I will update when I know more.

It wasn't clear on the previous messages, whether non-OTP SMS were being received, and this is only affecting automated texts.
Having the issue in-hand with the porting teams is absolutely the best thing.
