Thank you for suggestion 🙂
WiFi calling sometimes get little signal but often still with poor line so can't have conversation.
I've had phone device 'fixed' by EE too as was brought new from them but no change.
My husbands sim on another network works well in my phone though with signal which makes me think it is network issues.
Tbh given up now though as tried for 12months now.....everyone I know is aware not to call but WhatsApp & I'll reply when wifi. Main debate now is whether to accept another year of limited phone use or just buy new contract/sim on different network as (either way I'll have to pay EE for something I can't use until Jan 2025 )

@Mel1407 Might be worth requesting a replacement SIM card if you’re having the same sort of issue via WiFi calling.

I've split this post off into a new thread, it was going OT for the previous one and this way, @Mel1407 can have replies specific to their predicament.
WiFi-calling is fundamentally an extremely reliable service and as capable of stable clear calls as the 4G-mobile network is. But network design is such that, except on some Android phones where the preference can be toggled, mobile network coverage will always take preference - and it does rely on a good wireless signal. If some of these conditions aren't met, it can give the perception of WiFi-calling being unreliable, when the fault lies elsewhere.
Depending on the nature of your phone repair, I wouldn't rule out a device issue - having seen users have very similar symptoms to you, their post-repair phones had all the symptoms of constant network issues. It was only a very specific set of circumstances which highlighted the phone was potentially at fault - and a change of device made night & day difference.
Genuine network issues do tend to be quite specific and localised. When phones are problematic over wider areas, the issue is usually closer to home than many users realise.

Yes ee are very pushy in regard to handling out contracts! I foolishly rang them the other day to ask about about BT tv. The advisor said if you want it for £20 a month then thats fine when questioned on whether this would work they said it oh yes it's the best but what they don't give details on whether it will actually work with out any problems
