@Claude123  You can not text 150 internationally without paying an international text charge.   You can top up via your online account.     Your pack allowance doesn’t cover you while there so you need credit on your account to pay for calls/texts.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Claude123 : Had you used that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad? EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network before they can be used abroad. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.

@Claude123  you need to use it at least every three months.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
I topped up on my ee account few minutes ago
Will this now re activate my number
I will remember to call uk every month until I return in April

You needed to make a chargeable action within every 179 days. Making calls or texts from your pack don't count. If your SIM has already gone into hibernation topping up now is too late.

@Claude123 : Why ask again the same thing in yet another forum when you've already had answers here & are just as likely to get any more here when others see what's already been suggested?

I cannot ring the number you have suggested from my mb as all calls fail

if I call from my SAfrica Landline and press option 1 it does not recognise the number I am ringing from

so if I could contact EE by email that would help

i did try calling via the EE App it worked for a while, but now does not connect

so I am stuck !

thanks
