Phone goes to voicemail

whenever I make a call or receive a call it just goes to voicemail. I can text and get a call through whats app but not normal calls. can anyone help

Does this happen in multiple areas?

Are you connected to WiFi when you experience this?

@aerophil901 are you sure that you have not set your phone to not disturb or airplane mode? Also make sure that the sound is turned up and not accidentally switched off.
