WhatsApp is an internet-app, all usage of it is treated by both your phone and the mobile network as data. If you have a working internet-connection, an internet-based service should work.

Are you saying that all your voice calls are dropping after exactly 16seconds? That's very unusual. Does this happen in one specific location? Does it happen on calls to or from particular numbers or networks? How long has it been happening?

Only in calls and to different numbers. And exactly 16 seconds

Hi @Notme5698

Have you any battery optimisation active.

  • What device do you have.
  • Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.
  • Are you connected to WiFi or EE mobile network.
  • Are you in the UK.

Thanks

Hi @Notme5698

Welcome to the community.

That's a strange one. If you could answer @Northerner's questions, he might be able to hep you further here.

Otherwise, I recommend speaking with our Technical Support team from another phone, so they can help look into this.

Chris

How long has this been happening? Is it only in one specific location or more general?

Hi @Notme5698

Do you have any battery optimisation set.

Settings - battery - background usage limits - check it's sleep status as when your phone goes to sleep it could be ending the call, if you don't use the app mush it might be under "sleep" or "deep sleep". Under "never auto sleep" try adding it to that list.

Have you tried on loudspeaker as it could be something as trivial as how you hold the phone is accidentally pressing the end call button.

Thanks
