Numerous text messages to the same number at the same time. How is this possible

@Derber  It’s possible if you sent a text that was over 160 characters.    A text message is 160 characters and that includes blank spaces

Thanks for this explanation, I will obviously have to get myself a ‘message speak’ dictionary. I know now why all the youngsters text in abbreviations. I thought lol meant ‘lots of love’ but my granddaughter tells me it means ‘laugh out loud’. I will have to get down with the kids! Beryl.
