I have just got a iPhone 15 Pro from EE. I am trying to get my WhatsApp verified on the new phone. However, it says a SMS has been sent but I never receive. Also the call option doesn't provide me with a code either. Has anyone else had this issue and if so have they managed to resolve?

WhatsApp support themselves are being no help whatsoever unfortunately.

It's alright, all resolved now. I managed in the end to do it with phone verification code.

Good to hear you got this sorted. Could you let me know if there was anything different you did to get this working as I have same problem having moved numbers to EE. SMS verification code doesn't arrive and phone option fails yet I can do this on a different phone with different mobile network supplier.

Just switched an 02 number to ee sim and docant receive any sms or calls from whatsapp

I did manage to get the WhatsApp verification code from a phone call eventually with Wi-Fi turned off as it doesn’t like VoIP although I had tried this a few times before I could get a call. Never got sms verification code working. I had changed from O2 as well 🤔 It also hung recovering my WhatsApp data from iCloud but restarting WhatsApp sorted it
