I phoned EE yesterday about recent lack of signal.

one suggestion is sending need sims. But keeping our current ones active untill we activate new ones.

last night before bed I updated my I phone to iOS 18, when picked up my phone two hours ago, it has no network, I don’t men no signal,

I have turned I in and off afew times,

selected EE

airplane mode on and off

it won't even text 150

I have to leave the house early this morning but need maps etc. when phone is not on WiFi it is just showing the satellite symbol.

I am reluctant to delete phone and restore previous back up as it asks me about deleting e sim etc. also I might not be because of ios18 rather the news sims being sent etc.

I cannot wait until 8am when customer service opens. Please help

@mcja1982   so your using the eSIM.  Having a new sim sent out will not fix the problem if you’re using the eSIM.    The eSIM isn’t a SIM card it’s an electronic onboard sim.

Does WiFi calling work for you ?   Do you have this issue in more than one location?  You need to go a few miles away to answer that question round the corner isn’t enough.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

WiFi calling is not working.

I don’t think we have physical sims but then are sending some out to try and fix the issues we have has recently but this s not the same

we no have no network.
no here or afew miles down to road.

it’s not even trying to find a network provider.
i wonder if they have de activated my e simready for new physical sim which should not have been actived yet causing this issue?

I wonder if I did not make myself clear in my first post? It is a shame I cannot share photos.

as I say with out home WiFi I only have the sos signal.

or is it something to do with ios18

@mcja1982  Here only one thing comes in my mind, EE is replacing your sim card as such the existing one is not working.

You can load the offline map in your phone for your upcoming travel.

In the meantime, go to any EE store nearby and get a replacement with appropriate photo ID.

This is the best that you can do now.

Thank you.

Sorry is there just EE, ? Telling me to fix their mistake?

Both the mobile network & WiFi-calling use the same authentication onto EE's core network. If neither of those work, that suggests an account or SIM issue.

Not having an active SIM - whether physical or electronic - is a likely reason.
