I am currently in Paris and have absolutely no service and haven’t since I landed. I had the same problem recently on Denmark.
I am unable to use my data even when switched on or text/call anyone when I’m outside and don’t have Wi-Fi.
I have an unlimited Roam abroad pass on my account, data and roaming switched on in settings as well as my network selection set to automatic. I have also turned on and off the phone/restarted several times. I have read a lot and tried everything I can think of but still no service.
Can anyone help?

@JosEEphone : The Roaming Abroad Pass is just a billing add-on. It doesn't enable your ability to roam abroad. For that you needed to have texted ROAMING to 150 before you left the UK to ensure roaming is enabled on your account. If you didn't you now need to call CS to have it enabled.

International roaming - giving your phone the ability to connect to foreign networks - is a network setting not a phone one. Data roaming is just a phone setting enabling the use of mobile data when connected to foreign networks.
Have you enabled roaming on your account as per the other advice?
