Hello, I’m not sure if I should ask here. I’m planning to sell my phone that I bought through EE to someone else, but after I posted the phone , I realised I forgot to note down the IMEI number to prove I was the first owner. So, if possible, is there a way to contact a "human customer service" to provide the IMEI number? Thank you.
I’m asking because it’s still in transit at the moment and hasn’t reached the buyer’s address yet, so I’m really worried now.
btw. Although I have tried with 07953 966 150 , I do not have any contracts with EE and can't find a way to reach "human customer service"

Hi @hihi3
The number you quote is the best number.
Thanks

I'm not sure why you need to show you're the first owner, but if the person you sent it to needs it, get them to tell you the IMEI once they receive it?

I sold something on V*****. I posted it on 15 August, but it is still showing as “in transit”. I think it might be lost.
If I want to claim compensation from V***** (or go through the Small Claims Track??), would it help if I have the IMEI number to prove that I was the original owner?
Sorry – my thoughts are a bit mixed up.

Welcome to the Community, @hihi3
I sell quite a bit on that app myself, and I would expect any disputes around deliveries to be handled with the courier your buyer selected rather than the app itself.
I appreciate you'll want to try and cover as many bases as possible for investigating these issues, though.
Since your purchase, the EE store has since been merged with our main website, and we do have a dedicated team for queries around electronics orders.
As a first port of call though, we still have the EE Store email support option active, and you can reach out to them via enquire‑[email protected]

Where is it showing that this is incorrect?
This was listed when I looked for support options on our site, so if it's not working I'll feed this back.

Thanks @hihi3
I've had this double checked and as far as we can see at our end this should still be open and managed.
I'd recommend giving this another try but try typing the email address in manually instead of copying and pasting what I shared above.
Alternatively you can also try calling direct on 08009563074.
