My Motorola G7i power cancels outgoing unanswered calls after a few seconds. It rings mobiles without any problems. How can I get it to ring out longer?

Hi. Yes it only happens on landlines. So far it’s only one landline. I’ve used another EE phone and called the same landline and it works perfectly.

Are you able to try the SIM card in another phone to see if the same happens?

I’ve tried the SIM in another phone and it works ok. Put SIM back in original phone and it cuts out after 10sec as before.

Can you try deleting any call history to this number from your phone.

Also, if this is a contact saved to the phone, can you delete this and try and call the number again, does this ring for longer?

Have deleted call history and contact. Redialled and still cuts off after 10secs on landline only.

The next step would be to back up all your data and factory reset the phone.

Still no joy. I’m using the phone on Wi-Fi calling and everything is fine. Looks like that’s what I’ll have to do.
