New sim, two numbers

Hi. I've recently changed sins from BT to EE, some people I send messages to are receiving them from the new sim number and some from my old number which I kept from bt.

My phone is a Huawei p30 pro.

Any ideas how to solve this please?

How recently did you number transfer happen?

Did you get a new phone or did you keep the phone you were using with BT?

Hi Jon. It's been about two months now maybe a bit longer.

I've kept the same phone which isn't on contact with anyone. Bought outright.

Does this problem affect outgoing calls as well as text messages?

Hi Katie. 

No, the call doesn't connect. It's only messages but most people it's my number I brought over from bt and two people that I'm aware of get the new sim number from ee.

Not that I'm aware of, it just seems to be the odd text message. WhatsApp is fine also.
