Messaging service? Turn it off

Can I turn off the text messaging service, so I can’t recieve & send at all, do I need ee to do this or can I change sim settings, thanks

You can't turn off texts completely without turning off the mobile network and then you can't make calls. You can prevent sending texts by making the Messaging Centre Number incorrect.
