Making calls from Malaysia

Hi all,

I am an EE pay monthly customer and will be visiting Malaysia soon. Can you let me know if and how much I'll get charged for calls and texts to other UK numbers while abroad?

Please also ensure roaming is activated on your account before you go by texting ROAMING to 150.

Another option for Malaysia is to check your handset is unlocked before you leave the UK and get a local sim card to use whilst in Malaysia. From personal experience, I'd recommend Digi. You can pick up sims at the airport or at network branded shops.
