I use my EE sim in a Wifi router. Can I redirect texts to another number

I live in a remote area and have a wifi router with my EE Sim in it. works great but from time to time EE themselves text me. Is there a way to forward all texts on that EE Sim to another phone number (not an EE number). 

Its a pain as every time I need to get a text on that sim I have to take it out of the router, put into an old phone, do my texting and then put it back in the router

Many mobile routers are able to forward texts. You would be charged for them. Which model router have you?

You should be able to read received texts direct from the router without moving SIM to a phone.
