Can’t make any calls, not even to ee CS. Didn’t turn on roaming before leaving Uk as didn’t know I had to do that. Can’t activate roaming thru the app as keeps saying there’s a problem when I try to do it.. PAYE customer  and have no idea how to resolve as phone can’t make calls🤷‍♂️… wish there was an email address to help communicate and resolve this problem atleast… any help much appreciated:)

@Macgas : With PAYG you don't need to activate roaming before you leave UK or in your MyEE. PAYG is auto enabled for roaming. There are no special settings for roaming & you don't need to change anything. If outside EU, do you have enough credit for making calls & texts from abroad?

Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. via Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Also try selecting a network manually rather than auto. Otherwise login to your MyEE account online & go to Menu > Account Settings > Parental and Data Controls > Roaming Abroad and also Call Abroad and Premium Rate. They will show as ticked if roaming and calling abroad is activated. If not ticked, can you activate these settings?

If you can't enable the Roaming Abroad and the Call Abroad & Premium Rate settings of your online MyEE, you will need to call CS. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. via Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

@Macgas

You have posted your mobile number on a public internet forum, which is an open invitation for spammers to start calling & texting you.

I strongly recommend you delete these from your post ASAP, unless the site admins beat you to it.

If you are currently abroad and can't enable the roaming facility for whatever reason, you should be able to call EE C/S on +44 800 0798586 using Skype.

I suggested you use your online MyEE not the app. Did you follow my advice? If that doesn't work then call CS via Skype over WiFi as I suggested.
