I am going to Italy and have the following active add ons. EU roaming at 2.29/day and a Travel Data Pass and a 10GB UK and EU data.   What is my best option going on holiday?

Hi @Eric07538

Thanks for coming here.

You can view all available add-ons in our Roaming Costs, Help page to see what would be the best option for you 🙂

Please text ROAMING to 150, before travelling to make sure the account is set up for roaming.

Leanne.

The TDP is not applicable in the EU.

You may use your usual UK allowances in the EU with up to 50 GB (contract) or 25 GB (PAYG) data per billing month if you have more. If on contract & your contract started after 07/07/2021 there'll be a £2.29 / day charge for using your UK allowances in EU or alternatively you may buy the Roam Abroad Pass for £15 / month.

Remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure roaming is enabled on your account.

I think the Roam Abroad pass will work well however can my wife use my phone as a hotspot so she doesn’t need anything?

Regards

Eric

Yes, if she likes for data but it won't give her any calls or texts. She'll be paying £2.29 for each day she does any of them.
