Are you able to receive person-to-person, non-automated text messages? Is it one specific sender that's affected, or multiple?

Yeah I'm able to send person to person and just recently noticed it

How "recently" is recently? Hours? Days? Weeks? Months?
It was receipt of person-to-person text I queried, not your ability to send.

Are you on Pay monthly or Pay as you go? Are you able to make outgoing phone calls?
One other thing to try before giving Customer Service a call- try a manual network selection.
For android phones: go to Settings > connections > mobile networks > Network operators > switch "automatic" to OFF. Wait for it to load with networks.
For iPhones tap Settings > Tap Mobile Data > Tap Network Selection >
Tap the slider against Automatic to turn off. Wait for it to load with networks.
Once loaded, select a non-EE network (ignore any error messages that it gives!), wait 8 and half minutes.
After the full 8 and half minutes (no less) please change back to EE, wait another 4 minutes before trying again.
