Hi there!
I have looked through at least a dozen threads on this topic, but the common reply of texting VM OFF to 150 does not work for me. I have also tried texting VM ON and then VM OFF, still no luck. I am met with the reply of 'Sorry, we're having some trouble completing your request at the moment. Please try again later.'
I have been trying this on and off for a few months and it is always the same reply.
I am pay as you go, if it is relevant.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me, please?
Thank you and have a lovely day!

Another way of removing voicemail from the line is typing in ##002# into your phone and then dial it as a phone number.
It's the GSM code for cancelling all diverts on your line (so removes the divert to voicemail)

Hi @RoxA
Have you tried restarting your device?
Are you on the UK?
Thanks

@RoxA Have you tried texting VOICEMAIL DIVERT OFF to 150 ?
have you tried holding down the number 1 key on your dial key pad until your voicemail is called and then
listening to the options given ?

Hi there @RoxA
Thanks for coming here.
If you give our pay as you go care team a call on 150, they will help you get the voicemail turned off 🙂
Thanks.
Leanne.

@Chris_B Just tried that, same reply from 150. And yeah, I've gone through the menu several times and there doesn't seem to be anything about turning it off.
@Northerner Yeah, the phone has been restarted several times and I am in the UK.
@Leanne_T Is there no other option than having to call in? Surely it should be on a menu somewhere.
Thank you guys for your replies, though! Hope you'll have a lovely day!

Hi @RoxA
If the text service is not working for you, we would need to get this removed for you. Please give us a call and the team will be happy to help.
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.

Hi, @Leanne_T !
This is probably just me being dumdum, but I called 150 and went through the menu, reached the voicemail divert settings, tried turning it off from there. Automated system said I'll receive a text to confirm that. But then the text I received was the exact same one I've been getting before as well, about how the request couldn't be processed right now.
Could you tell me where the option is to actually speak to someone?
Thank you so much for your time and have a lovely one!

Hi @RoxA
Thanks for coming back to me.
If you call 150 and select option 1 then option 2 for technical support and the team will help you get this sorted 🙂
Leanne.

Thank you, @_MrR_ !!!
This is actually the only thing that seems to have worked.
I've called 150 and spoken to members of the team several times now, with answers ranging from 'we'll get back to you, we need to talk to another department' to 'oh, you can't remove it on pay as you go, it's a feature, not an option'.
I've put your code in, tried calling from a different phone and there seems to be no voicemail!
So thank you very much and have a lovely day!
