I have saved the EE Wi-Fi Auti for the London Underground as a network, I have the SIM setup as the login, but every time the train pulls into a station I have to manually select EE Wi-Fi Auto and connect. When it first connects it says internet not available and then there is a ! by the signal icon and it says connected internet not available. Then it connects, usually as the train is pulling out of the station. My partner does not have any of this problem with her phone, it is a pixel 5. Mine is a pixel 6 pro, both on the most recent version of Android, and both seem to have all the same settings. Mine is on auto connect, and is set up exactly as per the instructions on the EE website. Any ideas why it won't just auto connect?

I’ve called 150 tech support several times. I’ve even bought a new iPhone 14 pro max and it still doesn’t connect.
150 went through the usual reset steps and said they can’t help me any more.

I have the Iphone 14 pro same problem. I have to connect manually and by the time i do the train is moving on. I used to have the iphone 11 before this had no issues until the last few months of 2022 and that has continued into my new phone. Spoke to EE they said to reset my network settings still no luck. It seems like there is an issue with Iphones connecting onto EE across the board. EE need to look into this asap!

It's not just iphones my guy, I've never had an iPhone it doesn't work on my Pixel 6 Pro. Problem isn't with the OS or the phone, it is def the connection protocol for EE WiFi Auto

When was EE Wifi Auto thing implemented ? It used to work in a slightly different way on iPhones at least and be more like a normal wifi connection. But now it comes under section called a managed network, where no setting ca be changed.

I got Xiaomi x3 and have the same problem. While I used Virgin bridge, a year ago, to connect I had no issues with EE. Must be their settings.

Just adding my experence here. Same issue, iphone 13pro. Used to work fine, but doesn't anymore. I've stood in a tube station on hold for 30 minutes only to be told there's nothing they can do apart from a few diagnostics which they had already done. We've reset network settings etc.
What we need is for EE to switch the connect via the Virgin_media_wifi SSID option back on.
I'm off to find a new network...

I've had exactly the same problem. iPhone 14 pro which won't auto connect to the network.
I've contacted support several times and the experience was extremely painful. I've been through some pointless 'trouble shooting' and diagnostics which offered no help what-so-ever.
My next step is to write to the CEO Marc Allera to see if that will nudge them into action. Maybe others could try that too.

My guess he’s sitting by pool swilling champagne - prices go up 14.9% in March.
